Privacy policy

This document explains how the editorial team of the analytical journal allwin.bavaria-tour.com.ua (hereinafter — the Journal) handles information received from visitors. The policy has been prepared with reference to the Law of Ukraine «On the Protection of Personal Data» and to the norms of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in respect of visitors from jurisdictions to which that regulation applies. By using the Journal, you agree to the rules set out below.

What we record

In the course of your interaction with the Journal the following information may be collected:

Why this is needed

The data collected is tied to five specific purposes:

  1. Infrastructure stability. Monitoring server load, detecting and fixing faults, optimising performance.
  2. Product development. Analysing audience behaviour in order to improve navigation, prioritise topics and adapt the presentation format.
  3. Handling enquiries. Receiving messages through the contact form, logging them and preparing replies.
  4. Protection against threats. Identifying and blocking bot activity, spam, brute-force attacks and other malicious actions.
  5. Legal compliance. Meeting statutory requirements and responding to official requests from authorised bodies.

On what legal basis

Processing rests on at least one of the following legal grounds: the visitor’s consent, expressed by the fact of using the Journal or by completing the contact form; the editorial team’s legitimate interest in maintaining stable, secure and effective operation of the resource; the obligation to meet requirements laid down by applicable law.

Transfer of data

The editorial team does not sell personal data about visitors and does not grant commercial access to it. Limited transfer is possible in three cases only:

Retention and protection

Data is stored for as long as is required to achieve the stated purposes or for as long as the law prescribes. The protective set-up includes: traffic encryption over TLS, role-based access separation, regular server software updates, automated backups and periodic security audits. At the same time the editorial team acknowledges that no technical measure provides absolute security for electronic data.

Your rights

Applicable law gives you the following rights in relation to personal data:

  1. To find out exactly which of your data is being processed and for what purpose.
  2. To require the correction of inaccurate information or the completion of incomplete information.
  3. To require the deletion of data where there are lawful grounds.
  4. To withdraw consent to processing given earlier.
  5. To lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or another competent body.

To exercise these rights, send a request through the Journal’s contact form. A reply will be provided within thirty calendar days.

Updates to this policy

The editorial team may revise this document as the project evolves or the law changes. The version in force is always posted on the relevant page of the Journal. Continued use of the Journal after an updated version is made public is considered acceptance of all the changes made.
